Magic Valley QOV Activities
We participate in local events in Twin Falls and surrounding towns.
We display the year's fundraising quilt and let people know about our efforts
making quilts that are awarded to veterans.
The display table includes a form that visitors can fill in to request a quilt to honor their veteran.
Valerie and Carmen are at the table to greet anyone interested in the work we do. The fundraising quilt is displayed and other brochures are available for those interested in nominating veterans for award quilts.
National Sewing Day was February 7, 2026. Magic Valley Quilts of Valor invited ladies to come sew to get quilts for veterans started then they could be finished at home and returned to the organization. There were twenty eight ladies sewing using kits that were pre-cut by members of Magic Valley Quilts of Valor. Lunch was furnished by the members and a great time was had by all.
