Veterans Appreciation Day
July 2, 2026

Many Generous sponsors joined with Community Participants to make this a very special day for veterans and their families. When veterans came in the door to the atrium, they were welcomed enthusiastically and given a bag that were provided by Quilts of Valor as well as other community groups. Donated door prizes were given to selected veterans. 

Music was provided by Strings and Sticks.​ A display of beautiful quilts made by members captivated all who saw them.

Before the quilt presentations, John Martinez gave a Keynote speech. Margie Rahr, Magic Valley Quilts of Valor leader, introduced the mission of Quilts of Valor and the veterans who were awarded quilts.
